About Agapanthus Blue
Make a bold statement with Blue Agapanthus, the magnificent African Lily that transforms any arrangement into a showstopper. Each stem produces a stunning globe-shaped cluster of 20-100 star-shaped florets in an intense blue that's rarely found in the flower world.
What Makes Our Agapanthus Special?
Spectacular Blooms: Globe-shaped umbels measuring 15-25cm in diameter, creating dramatic visual impact.
Intense Blue Color: Grown at high altitude in Kenya, where cool nights intensify the blue pigmentation for deeper, richer color.
Progressive Blooming: Florets open gradually from outer edges inward, extending display life and providing evolving beauty.
Native to South Africa but now thriving in Kenya's fertile flower-growing regions, our Agapanthus benefits from the perfect combination of equatorial sunlight, rich volcanic soils, and optimal temperatures. The result is flowers with exceptional color intensity, strong 60-80cm stems, and impressive vase life of 7-10 days.
Design Applications:
Wedding Bouquets: Adds height, structure, and striking color
Corporate Events: Creates sophisticated, memorable arrangements
Sympathy Tributes: Symbolic of love and beauty
Modern Installations: Perfect for contemporary, architectural designs
Harvested when approximately 30% of florets are open, each stem arrives with the perfect balance of open blooms and developing buds, ensuring your arrangements continue to evolve beautifully over several days.
Care Instructions: Cut stems at 45°, remove lower leaves, use flower food, change water daily, and display away from direct sunlight and ripening fruit.
Experience the difference that premium Kenyan growing conditions make. Our Agapanthus Blue delivers the color, quality, and longevity that professional florists demand.
